If you love board games, the Magical Trail is your event. Unlike the Viking Quest which relies purely on slot mechanics and coins, the Magical Trail gives you a visual path of progression.
How the Trail Works
During the event, you will notice a new symbol on the main slot machine. Landing on three of these symbols awards you Tokens. The number of tokens you win scales directly with your bet multiplier.
To stock up on spins before the event begins, always use your Coin Master Free Spins daily.
Once you have tokens, you click on the Magical Trail icon. You then spend the tokens to roll a die or spin a wheel to move your character along the path. Each tile you land on grants a reward.
Reward Tiers
While the exact numbers change based on your village level, the reward structure generally follows this pattern:
- Early Trail (Tiles 1-10): Small coin payouts, free spins (10-50), and Pet XP.
- Mid Trail (Tiles 11-20): Wooden and Golden Chests, Pet Food, and larger spin payouts (100-500).
- Late Trail (Tiles 21-30): Magical Chests, Billions of Coins, and massive spin payouts (1000+).

Strategic Tips
Because tokens expire at the end of the event, you must commit. Do not stop halfway through the trail if you can help it. If you have a massive stash of spins, the Magical Trail is one of the most profitable events to participate in, especially when combined with a Tournament Leaderboard.
